    Lake Huron
    Lake Huron, one of the Great Lakes chain, is located on the border between Canada and the United States. The lake is connected to Lake Michigan by the Straits of Mackinac, Lake Superior by the St. Marys River and Lake Erie by the St. Clair River.

    St. Clair River marks the boundary between Michigan and Ontario. The River spans roughly 40 mi (64 km) and connects the southern tip of Lake Huron to Lake St. Clair.

    Raisin River
    The Raisin River is approximately 115 mi (185 km) long, running from southeastern Michigan to Monroe, where it drains into Lake Erie. It is advised that people do not eat the fish from this river, as the waters are contaminated with PCBs from industrial companies.

    Detroit River
    Spanning approximately 32 mi (51 km), the Detroit River has been a part of Michigan's history and continues to be a source of recreational activities for locals and visitors alike. Forty-eight miles (77 km) of the lower river has been designated an International Waterlife Refuge, consisting of islands, marshes and coastal wetlands.

    Lake Erie
    Lake Erie is the smallest of the Great Lakes in volume and spans 241 mi (388 km) across and 57 mi (92 km) from north to south. The depth of the lake is approximately 62 feet, allowing it to heat up in the summer and freeze in the winter. Cleveland, Ohio, Buffalo, New York and Windsor, Ontario, are just a few of the cities that are found on the shores of Lake Erie.
