The City of Novi is eager to Light up the Night and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season! Light Up the Night will take place on the Novi Civic Center Campus from 6-9 pm. Mayor Bob Gatt and a special visitor from the North Pole will light the holiday tree at 6:30 pm.
The fun will be held indoors and out and includes, a craft show, Santa visits (professional photos are $5 each), kids’ activities, marshmallow roasting, hockey skills competition, live reindeer, miniature train rides and free food samples from several local restaurants. Festive hay wagons will shuttle people to and from the Novi Public Library to enjoy face painting and Tom Plunkard the Magician performances (7 and 8 pm) at the Library.
A wide array of live performances are scheduled including Nutcracker pieces by the Metropolitan DanCentre, holiday favorites sung by Novi’s own Choralaires, a high energy performance by Expression Music Academy and more!
